Message from the President:
I'm very sorry to everyone that asked to join or affiliate while I was gone. I just don't get on dA like I used to, and I think I took too much into my own hands with owning various clubs. I'm giving up ownership of this club, and I will give it to who I see fit.

If you're interested, please PM me on my *blutVonMalin username and give examples as to why you think you should be the new owner (please put in the subject line which club you're wanting ownership of too). Once the ownership is handed over, the club may or may not change, I don't know...it'll be done in whatever fashion the person sees fit. But either way, I hope the club gets back up on it's feet.

Contest:
Being there isn't a suitable club ID yet, I think this can be the first contest. There won't be a set end date for this yet because I want to see how many people enter. The ID design I like best will be put up in the ID space for the club. Just be sure to include the club name strangeYAOIpairings in it please. You can enter more than once, just no more than three entries per person please. To submit an entry, give me the full view link in a note with the subject club ID.

What the club is About:
This will be for those who love the 'strange' yaoi pairings (though there can be the more normal pairings too). This includes pairings from movies, video games, books (such as Harry Potter or something ficitional/fantasy that is some what common perhaps), an original character pairing up with someone from a movie etc, anime, almost anything (crossovers too)! Also I'll accept fanfics but only if they're short or in parts. A long one that just keeps going and going sometimes bores people, so if it's going to be long, send it to me in parts please!
Definition of Yaoi (slash) for those who don't know...
Basically it's a gay relationship. Yes, that's right, boyXboy love. If you have a problem with that I suggest leaving, or if you ask what it is, you'll be ignored. You've got the definition here, you don't need to ask.

How to Affiliate:
To affiliate, NOTE the club with the subject affiliate or comment on the affiliate journal. Please put the club icon or devlink in the affiliate section of your club.

How to Join:
To join, NOTE the club (also devwatch us for updates on members list, affiliates and art!) with the subject join. Putting the club on watch does not, I repeat DOES NOT automatically join you, you must note us!

Any comments left on the front page to join will be ignored unless I'm in a good mood.

How to Submit:
If you have a submission to the current theme or contest (or just something to submit), NOTE the club with the full-view link, name of the piece, what category to put it in, and comments you want to put into the description. Don't forget if the lineart and coloring is done by two different people list that too please. Yaoi (slash..same thing), shounen-ai and shota will be accepted.

RULES
1) No flamming anyone's work, if you don't like the pairing, don't look! (if I find any of this I will remove you from the member's list if you're on it)
EDIT
Being comments are being taken away, this doesn't really come into play (at the club). But if a member of this club notifies me that there's flamming on their art (which is different from actual critique) and whoever the person is (if they're a member of the club) that's doing the flamming, will be removed from the members list.
2) No favorites on the art here please, the actually artist deserves the favorites, not the club.
3) Put the club avatar in your journal please (the more exposure, the better)! To do so, use :icon strangeYAOIpairings: but without the space so it looks like . Do that, or use the dev link by doing :dev strangeYAOIpairings: but without the space so it looks like ~strangeYAOIpairings.
